「このまえね、私のクラスで西田さんが笑い者になったの。」

会話の合間に、唐突に切り出されたななこちゃんの一言。

「へえ…私のこと、みんなは知ってるの？」

「里親がいる、と言ったら、その人は正義の味方だね、と先生が言ったの。

そうしたら、みんながドっと笑った。」

「私が正義の味方？

笑われても私は全然平気だけど、ななこちゃんはイヤな思いをしたのね。」

「うん…。」

この繊細な心が、先生の言葉やお友達の笑いをどう受け止めたのか…。

笑われたっていいじゃない！

"The other day everybody made fun of you, Nishida-san" ( Foster-parent)

All of a sudden, Nanako-chan said about this in the middle of our conversation..

"Nanako-chan, does it mean....everybody at your class knowｓ about me?"

"That's right. I said I've got my foster-parent, then my teacher joked around saying that...that  person must be "Champion of  Social Justice", then everybody burst into laughter"

"Wow, am I Champion? Hey, Nanako-chan, don't worry, I don't mind at all about their laughter. I feel sorry, but were you hurt badly about this?"

".....Yes.....".....
